At Clive and Bacon, we believe in the quality of our items and we work hard to ensure you receive the best product in a timely fashion. All of our accessories are made in our workshop in California. This means all of our products are unique and may have slight differences in the placement of patterns and designs.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Each item is made to order so it can take up to two weeks for us to create your special piece depending on the season. Christmas is our busiest season and we always recommend allow at least 3 weeks for production and shipping. We cut, sew, and print every item to order.
When will my item(s) ship?
We prep orders for shipment as soon as they are complete and we work hard to process and ship your orders in a timely fashion. Once your order is complete, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number. Typical shipping time is 2-4 days depending on the option you choose. Our default shipping method is USPS First Class. If you need your item sooner or if you have a question about processing time, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
International delivery times vary depending on the country. We have USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, and DHL Express options to choose from.

Customs Duties (For International Orders):
We cannot guarantee that you will not be charged any customs taxes or duties. Any customs or import duties are charges once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the package. We are not responsible for lost/stolen packages or customs delays.
Why can't you product items faster?
I honestly wish we could. We tested out several sewers and were unhappy with the quality of the product. Quality in the fabrics, stitching, and finishing of our items is something I'm extremely proud of and we take that extra time to ensure everything is perfect. At this time every item is still made by myself with the help of my husband.
What if my order didn't arrive?
This happens from time to time and it is such a bummer for us as I'm sure it is for you! Once an item leaves our location we rely on the mail carriers to deliver the packages in a timely manner. Delays can always happen due to unforeseen circumstances or weather related issues. If your package is lost and have selected Priority Mail as your mailing option, you can file an insurance claim at www.usps.com. Please contact us if you have any issues receiving your items. Unfortunately we cannot replace lost or stolen packages.
My dog's name is misspelled / The bandana doesn't have the options I chose.
Ugh! (Palm in face) This will happen from time to time due to human error (mostly mine). If this happens please reach out and I will make you a replacement.

How are your bandana’s sized?
To ensure proper sizing, please measure the neck circumference of your pup and remember to include an extra inch for comfort. The sizing area below is for our tie bandanas.
If in doubt, always size up! If you need a different size than what we have available, please contact us and let us know.
What is your return policy?
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unsatisfied with your item, please contact us within 5 business days to exchange or return your item. We accept returns of unused and unworn items that are not personalized or feature a custom fabric option. However, we do want you to love your bandana so if you experience any issues, please don't hesitate to contact us. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.
How do I clean the bandana?
Our bandanas are made with 100% cotton. Lightly hand wash in cold water with like colors and with color safe detergent, lay flat to dry. Our designs and names are hand printed with water based inks or applied with vinyl, then heat set for a permanent bond. Some inks may be more delicate than others and general wear and light fading may occur. Ironing is perfectly fine, but please iron on reverse to protect the design.
